Comments: 2021 Presidential Budget

We are writing to you regarding the critical need for Medicare coverage of comprehensive treatment of obesity to better protect seniors from COVID-19 and other illnesses. Specifically we are urging you to follow congressional intent and include language in the upcoming Presidential budget for coverage of obesity treatments, including Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved anti-obesity medications (AOMs) and Intensive Behavioral Therapy (IBT) to ensure the health and safety of millions of Americans.
